How to Level Up Tarot Practice

In 1909, Arthur Edward Waite and Pamela Colman Smith released the Tarot deck that would later become world-famous.
Waite and Smith were mystics. Both were members of the Hermetic Order of the Golden Dawn, founded by an occultist and freemason.
We can argue whether Tarot is “legit” or not. But one thing is evident: the Rider–Waite deck can be used for extrasensory practice. Especially for those who are already fond of Tarot.
The best Tarot readers can perceive a card blindly — either directly or with the help of another card deck.
Blind Perception is a Key
Each card is like a mosaic or mandala represented by a glyph.
Each glyph carries a specific energy and meaning.
Once you become able to perceive the card and its glyphs, the meaning attaches much more easily.

The operator is the one who runs the whole process — whether it's Tarot, I-Ching, or even coffee grounds.
The task of the operator is to tune in to the querent (client) and the request.
In other words, to become part of the whole, conduct the signal through oneself, express it through a mantic system, and then interpret it.
Interpretation of the signal is a crucial part of any ESP process. One card can deliver various meanings depending on what glyphs resonated with you right now, upon the request of the querent.
That's what makes the operator's perception central, NOT the card's meaning itself.
Game Changer
Now Pentad Tarot contains powerful advanced statistics.
On top of that, we added flexible set organization, which allows you to start small and go deeper over time.
And that's not the end. Stay tuned.
I want to help real masters — and those who want to become legit operators — feel confident when they say "I am a Tarot reader."

Assumptions
Each card delivers a specific tuning to an energy configuration.
An operator can and should train themselves through meditation on each card. Especially the Major Arcana.
The Major Arcana contain one or several dominant elemental energies.
Minor Arcana carry only one main Element energy.
The Major Arcana can be arranged through layers according to hierarchy, depending on the tradition.
The most popular approach is to align the Major Arcana across the Tree of Life.
Let’s take the Jewish Kabbalistic Tree of Life as a basis. The same principle can also be adapted to Sufi or Christian Kabbalistic models.
The channels between the sephirot (sefirot or sephiroth) correspond to the Arcana.
Kether, the highest sephirah on the Tree of Life, represents the highest element.
The upper channels and sephirot carry the highest frequencies.
The lower channels and sephirot carry a "heavier taste" of energy and feel denser, rougher, more harsh.
The Blueprint
1. Define your Elements system
Decide whether Swords and Wands represent Air or Fire. Both variants work.
My personal preference:
Swords — Fire
Wands — Air
2. Start with Suit sets
Practice distinguishing elemental qualities through the suits. You can begin with 1 out of 2, then move to 1 out of 3.
3. Watch your stats
If after 150–200 trials your Chance Expectation (Z-Score) is around 0.5–1.0, move to the Major Arcana.

4. Major Arcana
Begin with the foundation layer in your tradition — the Arcana connected to the lower sephirots (10, 9, 8, 7). In my case, that's The Fool, World, Sun, Moon, and Judgement.
I used to perceive them this way:
The Fool — Fire and Earth
The World — Water
The Sun — Air
The Moon — Water
Judgement — Water
To me, The Moon and Judgement also carry a slightly higher-frequency feel compared to The Sun and The World.
So my training sets would be:
Fool + World + Sun (3 responses)
Moon + Judgement (2 responses)
Fool + World + Sun + Moon + Judgement
5. The Minor Arcana
It can also be mapped onto the Tree of Life according to your tradition.
In that case, it makes sense to move from bottom to top.
In my case, the progression can be: 2s → 10s, then Pages, Knights, Queens, Kings, and Aces.
As a result my sets can be:
Minor 2–Aces Swords (all ranks in one suit)
Minor 2–Aces Wands
Minor 2–Aces Pentacles
Minor 2–Aces Cups
Any system that maps Tarot onto the Tree of Life can be adapted for extrasensory training.
This kind of practice can sharpen general sensitivity, which may also help with detecting Places of Power, elements, remote viewing, and similar work.
The Bottom Line
You can enjoy your favorite practice and be a number-backed practitioner.
Does this guarantee 100% accurate readings?
No.
No extrasensory skill works at 100%. At least for now. (We keep working on that!)
But your results can improve dramatically. And you'll have the data to prove it.
Later we will talk about how Tarot skills can be used for more structured future prediction work.
For now, we have time to practice before moving to the next step.
